113 year old stained glass windows from a small church in West Virginia being restored by my friend.
We spent this evening at our dear friends glass art shop helping her restore the two windows above. She has over 25 windows in the project, each one extremely unique. I had so much fun learning how to peel out the old lead and then remove the damaged pieces. She’s going to teach us how to cut glass and do the actual replacements soon.
She is one of the most talented artists I know locally, and she’s a such a sweet person; her energy just resonates in everything she does. She welcomed us back to help on the project anytime through the end of the month, and I’ve already confirmed I’ll be back in the shop on Wednesday evening!
